Glyko

Preserved fruit is popular worldwide.  In Cyprus we serve 'Glyko' or spoon sweets as usually as an acompaniment to Coffee or water.  Water is always necessary when eating Glyko, some people dip the fruit in to remove any excess syrup, some like to drink the syrupie water once they have finished the fruit.
